1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing miiso.dev or any service operating under the *.miiso.dev domain, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use this site or any of its services.
These terms apply to all products and digital assets offered by Kevin Miiso Novo through miiso.dev, including SaaS products, the Bard native Windows application, SaaS business bundles, Framer templates, and Fortnite map bundles.
2. Products and Services
All products sold through miiso.dev are original digital assets created solely by Kevin Miiso Novo. The following product categories are offered:
2.1 SaaS Products
Hosted software applications accessible via active subscription at [product].miiso.dev. Subscriptions are billed on a monthly or annual basis through Polar. Access is granted only while a subscription is active and in good standing.
2.2 SaaS Business Bundles
One-time purchase packages comprising the components of a buildable software business: product documentation, design artworks, and a code repository. A bundle purchase grants a personal licence to build and operate your own instance of the product. Bundles may not be resold, sublicensed, or redistributed in whole or in part.
2.3 Framer Templates
One-time purchase of original design templates for use in Framer. A template purchase grants a single-seat, non-exclusive licence for use in one end project — personal or commercial. Template files may not be redistributed, resold, shared, or used to create derivative templates for distribution.
2.4 Fortnite Map Bundles
One-time purchase of original Fortnite Creative game experiences. All underlying game logic, world design, and assets remain the intellectual property of Kevin Miiso Novo. Use of purchased maps is subject to Epic Games' terms of service in addition to these terms. Maps may not be decompiled, redistributed, or published under a different identity without written permission.
2.5 Bard Native Windows Application
Bard is distributed through the Microsoft Store and through miiso.dev as a Windows installer. A Bard licence is a one-time $20 purchase, sold only on miiso.dev. It runs for 365 days from its first activation, does not renew automatically, and permits one user on up to three activated Windows computers. We email a reminder to the purchase address before it expires; a new licence continues Bard for another 365 days. You may deactivate a computer from your account and activate another; licence keys, receipts, and entitlements are not transferable.
Bard includes a 14-day local trial. The trial and paid entitlement are stored locally through Windows Credential Manager. When the paid term ends, existing local captures remain readable and exportable, but new capture, dictation, drawing, and editing pause until renewal. A network outage does not erase a valid signed offline lease; an expired or revoked lease does.
The application is licensed, not sold. You may not redistribute, resell, sublicense, crack, or circumvent its activation or update controls. Model files remain subject to their respective licences and notices.
3. Your Account
A miiso.dev account provides access to this website’s account services. Individual products may require their own sign-in and account; using a miiso.dev subdomain does not guarantee shared access. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
Purchases associated with your miiso.dev account are managed from its dashboard or the relevant Polar customer portal. Individual products manage their own access and subscriptions where stated. You may not transfer your account or share access with others.
4. Intellectual Property
All content, code, designs, artworks, documentation, and game assets on miiso.dev and its subdomains are original works owned by Kevin Miiso Novo and protected under applicable intellectual property laws, including the Copyright Act 98 of 1978 (South Africa).
A purchase or subscription does not transfer ownership of any intellectual property to you. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the product as described in the applicable section above.
Unauthorised reproduction, redistribution, reverse engineering, or resale of any product or asset is a breach of these terms and may constitute copyright infringement.
5. Payments, Subscriptions, and Refunds
All payments are processed by Polar. All prices are listed in USD unless otherwise stated. Applicable taxes are the responsibility of the customer.
5.1 Subscriptions (SaaS Products)
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. You may cancel at any time from your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — access continues until then. No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing period.
5.2 One-Time Purchases (Bundles and Templates)
All sales of digital products — SaaS bundles and Framer templates — are final once access or download is granted. No refunds are offered except where a product is materially defective or not as described, in which case a replacement or refund will be issued at our discretion.
5.3 Bard Licence
A Bard licence costs $20 USD, paid once through Polar on miiso.dev, and runs for 365 days from its first activation. It is not a subscription: nothing is charged again, and Bard is not sold through the Microsoft Store. The email address given at checkout receives the purchase confirmation, the licence key and a reminder before the licence expires. Bard includes a 14-day local trial and a paid licence may be activated on up to three Windows computers. The desktop app stores a signed offline lease for up to 30 days between online checks. Refunds are handled under applicable law and the product's support process; a revoked or refunded licence may be deactivated.
6. User Responsibilities
When using any miiso.dev service, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and truthful information when creating your account or making purchases
- Use products only within the scope of the licence granted
- Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from any product
- Not resell, sublicence, or redistribute any product or asset without written permission
- Not use any service for unlawful purposes or in violation of any applicable law
- Not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system, account, or infrastructure
7. Third-Party Services
Our services integrate with the following third-party platforms:
- Vercel — hosting and edge delivery
- Supabase — database and backend infrastructure
- BetterAuth — session management for this website and explicitly connected legacy account services
- Polar — payment processing and subscription billing
- Google Analytics — usage analytics
- Framer — design platform for which templates are sold; your use of purchased templates within the platform is subject to their terms of service
- Epic Games / Fortnite — Fortnite Creative game development platform
- OpenRouter — optional text-only transcript post-processing when the user enables it in Bard
- Hugging Face and GitHub — Bard model and installer distribution; the desktop client does not send captures or audio to them
- Microsoft Store and Partner Center — Store listing, certification, package signing, and distribution for Bard
- Microsoft WebView2 and Windows Credential Manager — local desktop runtime and protected credential storage
- Resend — transactional email delivery for account verification, password reset, and system notifications
- Loops.so — transactional and marketing email delivery
Your use of these platforms is also subject to their respective terms of service. We are not responsible for their practices or terms.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kevin Miiso Novo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use any product or service.
Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim.
9. Termination
Kevin Miiso Novo reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to any service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these terms or is otherwise harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
Upon termination, your licences to use any product are revoked. Provisions regarding intellectual property, limitation of liability, and governing law survive termination.
10. Modifications to Terms
These terms may be updated at any time. Changes take effect upon posting to this page with an updated date. Continued use of any service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
